This is a companion site to the website I maintain for my son. That one houses pictures and comments on his life and development, and this one will be for my own thoughts and comments on life as a mommy. Being mommy to an infant means I will not post too often, but hopefully it will be enough to let friends and family feel included in our lives even if they are far away. :-)

Mary Jane

A buddy of mine (check out pigeoninthesun.blogspot.com if you haven't already) found a way to post an audio clip to her blog, and I thought, "How nifty is that?" Actually, I haven't signed up for the Audioblogging service, but I have found a way to share one of the tracks from my so-called demo CD with you. So, now attached to my Profile page is my rendition of "Mary Jane," originally sung by Alanis Morissette. This recording was made in November of 2004, at a local karaoke bar, "live," so to speak...and without my knowledge at the time. This was probably a good thing, since being on tape might have made me much more nervous than I was! Anyway, here it is, enjoy.
